This week Alice is sick so it's just Sydney and a short one. I read news, edify you on my tv opinions, and tell you about the polls. I also go on a ton of tangents.
Some highlights:
1. Do the aligator
2. Sydney learns to enunciate
3. Anger absords pee?
3. New renwals
4. Teletubies sun is scary
5. You get a science lesson (thank you Kelly/Oprah)
6. Note to self: Never say awesomeness
Please e-mail us at nobodylikesbrunettes@gmail.com and leave us comments here. Please send us feedback if you liked this episode because Sydney needs to know she is good at talking at herself. Please vote on our poll. Wow, the show notes are longer than the episode.

Heroes was indeed rather bland on Monday night. A lot of great stuff happened, but I wasn't in it at all. That was Jamie Ray Newman playing the younger version of that lady wasn't it? Jamie Ray Newman who was Mindy O'Dell in VM, and was also in a couple episodes of Related.
While waiting for Heroes to air I've found myself watching Chuck, although usually muted, as I enjoy listening to music or something. A few familiar faces from Tru Calling and Everwood appear, and now that it's been picked up I might start watching it. A half an hour in though I turn on Aliens In America. I actually find it funny, but it seems like they take a lot of shots of Midwesterners (and I'm from Minnesota - which means I hate the Packers). Not a bad show though. Again, more familiar faces including Scott Patterson from Gilmore Girls and Christopher B. Duncan from Veronica Mars. Sorry probably TMI.
I looked up The N online and the feature that allows users to post comments whilst viewing programming was kinda cool. The CW has a trivia box that appears under it's shows whilst streaming. That's kinda cool too.
This probably isn't called for, but I will be on tv this week during the PBS broadcast of Great Performances Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival 2007. You can spot me during John Mayer's "Gravity." You can see me sitting in my seat in the background, just to the right of Mayer's head.
Have a great week everyone! Hope you're feeling better Alice and great job with the show Sydney.
I've only seen an episodes worth of the shows listed in this week's poll except for Heroes. Odds are good that I'll be buying either Friday Night Lights or Brothers and Sisters on DVD this week. Any suggestions as to which one I should invest in? I really enjoy nothing more that having a full season's worth of tv on DVD and watching it at my leisure. I was in New York last year and witnessed the camera crews of 30 Rock roaming about. I actually watched Alec Baldwin playing football with some guy in the street for ten minutes which was amazing (a good substitue for awesome no?)!
Scott, you rule the world. Your comments are so AMAIZING I am actually responding. I may give Alien's another look if the strike does go on or if I am bored but I am getting my Gilmore Girls fix with Samantha Who? and Veronica mars with Heroes and Moonlight. As far as Jaime Ray Newton, I have no idea. I wish Everwood had another season. I will try to find you on youtube, that's awesome. I love vomenting (on the N).
I prefer Brothers and Sisters but last I ckecked Friday Night lights was about $40 cheaper. From what you watch I think you will like both. Brothers and Sisters may be better because I am thinking it might last more seasons but you can always get the other one later.
Also, as a note no everyone you can vote on Beauty and the Geek through Friday.
Have a great weekend Scott and everyone else reading.
Sydney
Rule the world!? If only that were true.
After watching Heroes again I did notice Jaime Ray Newman's name in the credits. That episode was much better after a second viewing, and can't wait for the volume II finale tonight!
You're right B&S is triple the price of FNL, and while I was out shopping I came across Paul McCartney's new 3-DVD set on sale and couldn't pass it up. I did get FNL and am about half way through the season already. It's a great show! I was about to go and grab B&S as well this weekend, but the snow kept me away. I'll be picking it up soon though. I did watch the wedding episode last night and flipped out when they played George Harrison's version of Bob Dylan's "If Not For You!" What a wonderful moment!
It's been six years (11/29/01) since George Harrison has passed away and I've been watching and listening to a lot of his stuff and especially the tribute songs by Eric Clapton. Eric played George's song "Isn't It A Pity" at the Crossroads Guitar Festival that has been airing on PBS and the program on which I make an appearance. Anywho, I was thrilled to hear the song in B&S.
Have a great week and
